ARRC’s program is designed to insure vehicles that would normally be found in a rental fleet, however, there some vehicles that do not qualify for the program. We do not allow:

• High-end luxury or exotic vehicles
• Vehicles with salvaged or rebuilt title
• Motorcycles, ATVs, or side-by-sides
• Vehicles that exceed 26,000 pounds gross value weight (unless under the RV program)
• Vehicles used off-road OR for delivery, including for-fee transportation networks such as Uber, Lyft, and HyreCar

Regardless of the age or size of fleet, recreation vehicles eligible for the ARRC RV program include:

• Recreation vehicles
• Travel trailers
• Motor coaches
• Pop-up tent trailers
• Camper vans
• Fifth-wheel trailers
• Mounted truck campers

At your request, we will send information on the programs available, the Daily Auto Rental Insurance application, and other required forms. Once we receive your completed forms, they are submitted to underwriting. The normal response time for a quote is generally 48-72 hours. After we receive your quote, we will prepare a proposal that shows your start-up costs, as well as your monthly cost for rental fleet insurance. When we receive your signed proposal, ARRC will forward the membership documents for you to complete and sign. Coverage is normally bound within 24 hours of our receipt of signed documents.

You must complete the application and provide the required documents to obtain an up-front cost for insurance and membership in the ARRC program. We will provide you with a quote proposal that details all up-front costs and your monthly insurance premiums per vehicle per month. There is no “average” cost based on location or type vehicles.

Yes. As part of your membership with ARRC, you have access to free training for all employees. The ARRC Training Webinar is available twice a month or if additional training is needed, you can also schedule a session by phone with our trainer.

The minimum age required to rent a vehicle is 21, except in the states of New York and Michigan, where the minimum age for renters is 18 per state law.

Yes. ARRC has partnered with RentAll, Wheels, and TSD to provide affordable software programs. As part of the ARRC program, you may choose to utilize a rental software program at a discounted price. Learn More.

Liability covers bodily injury and/or property damage caused by your renter to another party. This does not include coverage for renter’s injuries or damage to your rental vehicle.

This policy is for coverage normally associated with physical damage insurance such as collision and comprehensive, for damages done to your rental vehicle. Physical damage does have exclusions of coverage, as well as a deductible.

In most states, you are required to have a Limited Liability license, as well as a counter product insurance policy in order to offer Counter Insurance Products. In addition, there are minimum qualifications that must be met. For example, a minimum of fifteen vehicles in your fleet and model year must be no older than five years. ARRC can assist you with the process of obtaining the license and policy if your business meets the requirements.

Yes, ARRC has access for General Liability, Garage Liability and Workers’ Compensation coverages.
